  LESSON PLAN   The plan for a single lesson for a period is known as a lesson plan. A lesson plan is a plan of action . It gives an outline of the lesson to be taught.   UNIT PLAN Unit Plan The plan for the instruction of a unit is known as unit plan. It is a challenging task to be performed by a teacher as part of the pedagogic analysis.  A well developed unit plan will give the teacher a meaningful gestalt of the unit and would enable him to handle it in a systematic manner. He should select the units as per the year plan. CONTENT KNOWLEDGE ANALYSIS Content is the subject matter of a lesson or a unit. Content serves as the basis for the development of curricular experiences. Effective learning can be organised only by analysing the content. Content analysis is the process of breaking up the subject matter into name, year, places, terms, facts, concepts, principles, rules, processes, etc.   Content analysis is a very important step in pedagogic analysis.
