Political community resources are local and national democratic institutions and public spaces through which people participate in governance, decision-making, and remembrance of public life.
They help students understand how democracy functions in real life and how citizens engage with the state.

They transform Civics from theory into lived experience.

1. Gram Sabha

The Gram Sabha is the general body of all adult voters in a village. It is the foundation of grassroots democracy.

Educational Perspective:

  • Rights and duties of citizens

  • Local problem-solving

Social Science Learning:

  • Civics: Democracy, participation, decentralization

2. Panchayat
